Open attached document. Make sure that "Iterative References" is enabled in Tools > Options > Calc > Calculate.

The two sheets differ only in where the formulas are placed relative to each other. In one sheet the iteration works, in the other not.

That should not happen.

Export the file to .xlsx and try it in Excel. Such dependency does not exist in Excel.
